Gorgeous 1940's Autumnal Burgundy & Green Plaid Dress
A delightful example of a 1940's day dress in a lovely lighter-winter plaid fabric.
Beautiful pockets on the hips (decorative pockets) and red and green buttons.
The buttons on the front are decorative also, there are poppers that actually do the dress up, and the buttons are on the front side of the bodice,
The skirt very gently flares from the waist seam.
The sleeves are full length and they feature small turnback cuffs.
The collar is very pretty - a high neck with a small turned over collar.
There is no zip to help get this dress on, just the opening at the bodice. No stretch to this fabric.
Condition: Very good, but there is a repair underneath one of the arms.
